Ia Tor commune was established on the basis of merging 3 communes: Ia Tor, Ia Bang and Ia Bang. In the past term, the Party Committee and People of Ia Tor commune have promoted the achievements left by previous generations, effectively used resources to implement the targets and tasks set forth by the Resolution of the Party Congress of the three communes (before the merger) for the 2020-2025 term.
Party and government building, inspection and supervision of party organizations and party members are focused on. Political and ideological education is widely implemented; discipline and order within the Party are tightened. Administrative reform continues to be promoted, improving the efficiency of the government apparatus. The grassroots political system is comprehensively consolidated, and the great national unity bloc is increasingly strong.
The economy continues to develop, infrastructure is invested in, new rural construction has achieved positive results, and people's lives have improved. Agriculture continues to develop, playing an important and key role in the commune's economy; by June 2025, the estimated production value reached nearly 11,558 billion VND, an increase of 1.98 times compared to 2020. Focus on directing the restructuring and development of agriculture towards promoting the application of scientific and technological advances in production. Since the beginning of the term, 128.5 hectares of coffee trees have been replanted from various sources, converting 345 hectares of fruit trees.
In addition, industry, handicrafts, and construction have developed quite well; industrial production and construction in 2025 are estimated to reach an average growth rate of 109.78%/year. Trade and services have developed steadily. Total retail sales of goods and services in 2025 are estimated to reach 335.21 billion VND.
The fields of culture, education and health continue to receive attention. Poverty reduction work is regularly directed, associated with social security policies. It is expected that by the end of 2025, the poverty rate of the whole commune will decrease to 5.59%, mainly ethnic minorities. The average income per capita in all three communes before the merger has reached and exceeded the set target. Social security policies are fully and promptly implemented. National defense and security continue to be maintained, ensuring stability and peace for people to work and produce with peace of mind.
Delegates attending the Congress
At the congress, delegates discussed and comprehensively assessed the results achieved as well as the shortcomings and limitations in implementing the Resolution of the Commune Party Congress, term 2020-2025; at the same time, discussed and agreed on the directions, goals, tasks and solutions to implement the tasks for the term 2025 - 2030. Accordingly, for the term 2025 - 2030, the Ia Tor Commune Party Committee will continue to mobilize all resources for development investment, focusing on investment attraction; effectively exploit the potentials and strengths of the commune, especially developing high-tech agriculture associated with the processing industry; accelerate the pace of restructuring crops and livestock; support and create a favorable environment for development activities, transfer of science and technology and production technology, market development, infrastructure, especially in ethnic minority areas. In addition, investing in infrastructure, developing education and training is linked to the needs of socio-economic development. Effectively implementing sustainable poverty reduction goals. Leading and directing the maintenance of political security in all situations. Along with that, building a clean and strong Party and political system; improving the leadership capacity and fighting strength of the Party Committee and the quality of Party members.

Speaking at the Congress, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tuan Anh acknowledged and warmly commended the efforts and achievements that the Party Committee and People of the three previous communes and Ia Tor commune at present have achieved in the past term.
To successfully implement the goals and tasks set out in the coming term, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tuan Anh suggested that the Party Committee of Ia Tor commune should focus on leading and directing the dissemination of the Party's correct policies related to the rearrangement of administrative units at all levels and the organization of a two-level local government model. The entire political system of the commune needs to change its mindset, from management and control to a mindset of service.
In the context that our Party and State are promoting decentralization and delegation of power in the new period, when handling work, each cadre and party member needs to firmly grasp the Party's policies, correctly understand the law, properly perform their duties and powers, and ensure that work is handled quickly, transparently, in accordance with regulations, and in the spirit of serving the people.
The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also suggested that, immediately after this Congress, Ia Tor commune needs to urgently concretize the resolution into specific action programs and plans, not only for the entire 5-year term but also for each 3-year period and every year. Each task and each goal must be clearly assigned, with specific steps, close to reality, step by step, each goal, proactively mobilizing resources for implementation.
Along with that, focus on innovating scientific, disciplined and disciplined leadership methods; further improve inspection, supervision and party discipline work; enhance the quality of party cell activities, focus on improving the quality of party members, ideology, ethics and capacity for action; must do a good job of developing new party members, especially young workers in enterprises. Do a good job of social security, sustainable poverty reduction, taking care of people's health, developing culture and education. Poverty reduction work must be substantive, supporting exactly what people need, from livelihoods, jobs to access to public services. The general spirit is to leave no one behind, requiring the entire political system of the commune in general and each cadre and party member in particular to be proactive, determined and do it thoroughly.
Entering a new development stage, we have many opportunities and advantages but also have to face many difficulties and challenges. Therefore, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested that each cadre, party member and people in Ia Tor commune must make more efforts, be more proactive and creative, grasp opportunities, promote advantages, overcome difficulties and challenges to create a solid momentum to successfully complete the goals and tasks set out in the Resolution of the Congress.

The Congress announced the decision of the Provincial Party Standing Committee to appoint the Executive Committee, Standing Committee and key positions of the Ia Tor Commune Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term. Accordingly, the Commune Party Committee Executive Committee consists of 23 comrades; Comrade Phan Tan Phong was appointed to hold the position of Secretary of the Commune Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term.
