On the afternoon of December 31st, the Standing Committee of the My Long Commune Party Committee held a conference to summarize the implementation of the resolution in 2025 and to develop directions and tasks for 2026.
Attending and directing the conference was Comrade Nguyen Thi Minh Trang – Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department.

Following the merger, the Party Committee of My Long commune has 30 branches with 819 Party members; it is a coastal locality in Vinh Long province. Implementing the 2025 resolution amidst many difficulties and challenges, but with determined leadership and guidance, My Long commune has achieved many positive results in various fields.
Through the implementation of the 2025 resolution, the locality achieved 29 out of 29 targets, including 10 targets exceeding the plan: enterprise development; the number of jobs created; the number of workers going to work abroad on fixed-term contracts; state budget revenue; commune budget revenue; the rate of social insurance participation among the total workforce; the rate of unemployment insurance participation; reduction in the rate of malnutrition among children under 5 years old; the percentage of the population supplied with clean water; and the conscription of citizens into the military.
Building on the achievements, the delegates at the conference focused on discussing and agreeing on the key directions and tasks for 2026, with 32 main targets covering the economy , culture and society, environment, national defense and security, and Party organization building.
In her directive speech, Comrade Nguyen Thi Minh Trang acknowledged and highly appreciated the achievements of the My Long Commune Party Committee; in particular, the implementation of the two-tiered local government model in the past period has been very good and has received high consensus from the people.
The comrade requested that the Standing Committee and the Executive Committee of the commune's Party Committee promptly assess and learn from the shortcomings in directing the implementation of the 2025 resolution in order to effectively implement the targets and solutions for 2026. They should continue to focus on Party building, improving the quality of Party branch activities according to the principle of democratic centralism; the Fatherland Front and other political and social organizations should effectively carry out social supervision and criticism; and they should take care of social welfare, monitor public opinion, and promptly handle sensitive issues that arise.
Regarding personnel management, it is necessary to review, assign, and arrange the right people for the right jobs, focusing on training successors; and paying attention to the personnel structure serving the upcoming People's Council elections. At the same time, localities need to review and assess the potential and advantages of the marine economy in conjunction with environmental protection, maintaining and enhancing traditional festivals to attract tourists and promote comprehensive development.

On this occasion, the Standing Committee of the My Long Commune Party Committee awarded certificates of commendation to 6 Party branches and 77 Party members for outstanding performance in 2025.
