Phuoc Hai Commune (HCMC): Many effective models to ensure security and order

On the afternoon of July 18, the People's Committee of Phuoc Hai commune (HCMC) organized a pilot festival for the whole people to protect national security in 2025.

Major General Nguyen Thanh Huong, Deputy Director of Ho Chi Minh City Police Department, awarded Certificates of Merit to collectives and individuals with many achievements in building the movement of the whole people to protect national security in Phuoc Hai commune.

Attending the event were Major General Nguyen Thanh Huong, Deputy Director of Ho Chi Minh City Police; Comrade Phan Hong An, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City.

In recent times, the movement of the entire people to protect national security in Phuoc Hai commune has brought into play positive effects, mobilizing the combined strength of the people in maintaining security and order. People proactively provide information and report incidents occurring in the area, helping the authorities handle them promptly, preventing complicated situations from arising, contributing to maintaining security and order, and promoting local socio -economic development.

Currently, the whole commune is effectively maintaining many models of crime prevention and ensuring security and order such as: "Security cameras", "Zalo connecting the whole people, peaceful life", "Commune says no to drug abuse", "Inter-family fire safety team", "Public fire fighting point", "Rapid response force". From these models, people have provided dozens of valuable reports, helping to handle many cases of law violations.

On this occasion, Ho Chi Minh City Police rewarded 2 groups and 3 individuals with achievements in building the movement of the whole people to protect national security; presented gifts to 10 households in difficult circumstances (VND 2 million/gift). Phuoc Hai Commune People's Committee also presented 70 gifts to students in difficult circumstances in the area.
