Pong Drang Commune protects the construction of the Green Park Project

Before organizing construction protection, the commune government and functional departments had many dialogues, contacts, listened to recommendations and clearly explained legal regulations and commercial arrangement plans so that small traders could understand and cooperate.

The People's Committee of Pong Drang commune fully implemented the steps according to regulations including: ; inviting households to the People's Committee of the commune to work and notify them to receive support money according to the plan approved by the competent authority; making a document to temporarily detain and seal assets for households that deliberately do not cooperate.

HTC Market Investment, Construction and Business Company Limited - the investor of the new market also has many preferential policies; including exemption, reduction and support of costs for a period of 5 years for traders from the old market moving to the new market, contributing to stabilizing people's livelihoods.

Pong Drang commune leaders directed functional forces to support people in moving their assets out of the project area.

Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Pong Drang Commune, Nguyen Ngoc Dac, directed the functional forces to move the traders' assets out of the project area.

However, there are still 17 households that have not received the support funds and continue to trade at the old market (park project area). To strictly implement the legal regulations on land and construction, ensuring the project's progress, after many unsuccessful propaganda and mobilizations, the Commune People's Committee was forced to implement a construction protection plan for those who have not complied.

Some traders still do business in the project area.

Secretary of the Party Committee of Pong Drang commune, Mr. Nguyen Hai Dong, affirmed: The green park project was implemented by the People's Committee of the commune in accordance with the correct procedures and in absolute compliance with legal regulations.

Construction protection work has been fully prepared in terms of personnel and administrative procedures, with the synchronous and drastic participation of the entire political system, to ensure safety and effectiveness throughout the implementation process.

In fact, the policy of building a green park in village 5 has received high consensus from cadres, party members and the majority of people. People consider this an important public project, making a practical contribution to the beautification of rural areas.

Construction unit clears the site to implement the project.

The green park project is built on an area of nearly 2,300 m². To implement the project, the Commune People's Committee has allocated more than 4.2 billion VND to support households in handing over the land.

The arrangement of traders to the new Pong Drang Market (in village 11) is strictly implemented according to the Government 's regulations on market management and in accordance with the planning approved by the province. This is to ensure that there is only one main market operating in the commune, meeting the set standards.
