Pong Drang Commune: Mobilizing traders to hand over land for construction of green park project

On the morning of November 17, the working group of the People's Committee of Pong Drang commune, led by Chairman of the People's Committee Phan Hoang Lam, went directly to the old Pong Drang market area (village 5) to propagate and mobilize small traders, especially 28 households that have not received support money, to promptly hand over the site to implement the green park project.

According to the plan, the green park project officially started on November 19 on an area of ​​nearly 2,300 m². This area has 85 small traders operating with a total of 97 stalls and sales booths. The Commune People's Committee has allocated more than 4.2 billion VND in support funds for households to hand over the premises for the project, but currently there are still 28 households that have not received the support money.

At the meeting, Chairman of the People's Committee of the commune Phan Hoang Lam and members of the working group disseminated and announced the construction plan of the park project; listened to the wishes and aspirations of small traders. On that basis, the working group made a record with each household, including 28 households that had not received support, and asked them to sign the record according to regulations.

Most households that have received support money have committed to stop doing business and hand over the premises on time. For households that have not received support, the leaders of the Commune People's Committee said that the propaganda and mobilization work will be carried out in 2 days (November 17 and 18). After the mobilization period, if the households still do not clean up and remove the obstacles, the construction unit will dismantle them according to regulations.

The green park project not only improves the environment and urban landscape but also opens up opportunities for developing commercial services, creating a highlight for community activities in Pong Drang commune.
