
The Office of the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City has just issued Document No. 9550/VP-ĐT regarding the plan for upgrading the land plot at No. 01 Ly Thai To Street, Vuon Lai Ward.
Accordingly, following the directive of the Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee at the meeting on October 27th regarding the plan to renovate the land area, the Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee instructed the Department of Agriculture and Environment to urgently hand over the land area to the sponsoring unit (Sun Group Joint Stock Company) no later than October 31st so that the sponsoring unit can build a green park, playground space for the community, and a memorial for Covid victims; to be completed and put into use before the Lunar New Year 2026.
The Department of Planning and Architecture is tasked with organizing the inventory, assessment, and classification of villas in the area before November 10th. Simultaneously, it is to guide the People's Committee of Vuon Lai Ward in preparing a local adjustment to the 1/2000 scale zoning plan for the aforementioned area.
The Chairman of the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City has instructed the Department of Culture and Sports to organize a public consultation online within 15 days to gather feedback on the proposed design for the park, as suggested by the sponsor. Afterward, the feedback will be compiled and sent to the sponsor to finalize the design plan.
The Director of the Department of Construction is directly responsible for overseeing the construction of the park until its completion and commissioning. At the same time, an investment project to expand Tran Binh Trong Street using the city's budget should be urgently prepared.
According to our findings, the land plot covers an area of approximately 44,312 square meters. The entire complex includes 7 villas belonging to the Government Guest House, which are currently vacant.
