After hearing the representative of the Ho Chi Minh City National Assembly delegation inform them about the outstanding results of the Tenth Session and explain the opinions of voters submitted before the session, a large number of voters were delighted with the success of the session.
At the same time, voters also expressed their trust and appreciation for the work of the National Assembly delegations throughout the past five-year term. Voters expressed enthusiasm for innovative policies such as those supporting the elderly. In addition to the general state policy on social retirement benefits and free health insurance for those aged 75 and over without a pension, Ho Chi Minh City will subsidize 100% of health insurance contributions for those aged 65 to under 75 residing in the city, effective from November 2025, helping to reduce the healthcare burden on the elderly.
At the conference, voters also raised concerns about many major issues and requested that the National Assembly and the Government pay attention to and amend them to create more favorable conditions for the people, especially regarding: land use conversion tax; waste collection; encroachment on sidewalks and roads; allowances for the elderly, etc.

Voters also continued to raise concerns and make suggestions regarding issues directly related to local realities, such as: the lack of paved sidewalks on Hoang Hoa Tham street, sidewalks being turned into dumping grounds for household waste, and, worryingly, the numerous discarded syringes posing a safety risk to pedestrians. In addition, many construction materials are piled up haphazardly, affecting urban aesthetics.
In addition, voters have complained about slow garbage collection, garbage accumulating right in people's homes and alleyways; and indiscriminate dumping of garbage causing environmental pollution, especially in canals and waterways, affecting public health. Voters request that solutions be implemented soon or that the function of specialized garbage trucks be changed to avoid prolonged pollution that detracts from the aesthetics of the area.

Leaders of the wards of Tan Son Hoa, Tan Son Nhat, Tan Hoa, Bay Hien, Tan Binh, and Tan Son reported on the results of resolving and handling voters' requests. The responses were very frank and directly addressed the core issues.
Concluding the meeting, the Vice Chairman of the Committee on National Defense, Security and Foreign Affairs, Lieutenant General Nguyen Minh Duc, affirmed that the Tenth Session is of special importance to the development of Ho Chi Minh City in the coming period. With a large volume of legislative work considered and approved by the National Assembly, it contributes to removing institutional bottlenecks, creating a transparent framework for mechanisms and legal frameworks, and forming a space for political, economic, cultural, and social development.
