The Executive Committee of the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee recently held its second meeting to review the implementation results of Resolution No. 01-NQ/TU dated August 18, 2025, and Resolution No. 02-NQ/TU dated November 17, 2025, which amends and supplements Resolution No. 01-NQ/TU of the Provincial Party Committee on development tasks for 2025; and to provide feedback on the draft resolution on targets, tasks, and solutions for socio-economic development, national defense and security, Party building, and the construction of the political system in 2026.

According to Vu Hong Van, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Dong Nai province, 2025 is of special importance as it is the final year of the 5-year socio -economic development plan for the period 2021-2025, creating a solid foundation for the province, along with the rest of the country, to successfully implement the 10-year socio-economic development strategy 2021-2030 and the goals of the Resolution of the 13th National Congress of the Party.

The Secretary of the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee affirmed that, after merging with Binh Phuoc province, Dong Nai now has a larger development space, greater potential and opportunities, and continues to assert its role as a driving force and important growth pole of the Southeast region and the whole country. However, the development process also presents many difficulties and challenges, requiring high determination and innovative approaches.

In that context, with the decisive and flexible leadership and guidance of the Provincial Party Committee; the unity and solidarity of the entire political system, the business community, and the people, the implementation of tasks and targets for 2025 has achieved many comprehensive results.

Specifically, the province's GRDP growth rate reached 9.63%, exceeding the government's target by 1.13 percentage points. Total state budget revenue reached approximately 100,000 billion VND, equivalent to 142% of the Prime Minister's projected target and 134% of the Provincial People's Council's projected target. Total retail sales of goods and service revenue increased by over 18%, ranking among the highest in the country.

Import and export activities reached over 34 billion USD, an increase of nearly 20% compared to 2024; maintaining a trade surplus of over 8 billion USD. Public investment and strategic infrastructure development were focused on with many decisive and innovative solutions. The index for serving citizens and businesses in resolving administrative procedures ranked 3rd out of 34; the administrative reform index ranked 8th out of 34 provinces and cities nationwide.

In particular, Dong Nai province has completed 100% of its targets for social housing and the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses, exceeding the plan assigned by the Prime Minister. Social welfare, healthcare, education, and care for war veterans and ethnic minorities have been implemented promptly and effectively. Party building and the construction of the political system continue to be strengthened; national defense and security are maintained, and social order and safety are ensured.

Provincial Party Secretary Vu Hong Van emphasized that the outstanding results achieved in 2025 are proof of the spirit of unity and solidarity of the entire provincial Party Committee; reflect the confidence of the business community and the consensus and support of all strata of the people; and affirm the courage, wisdom, and leadership capacity of the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee in the new development phase.
