The Long Thanh Airport 110kV Substation project has a total capacity of 80MVA, with an investment of over 158 billion VND, and is designed to meet the standards of an unmanned substation. The entire monitoring and control system is digitized and remotely controlled, allowing for real-time monitoring of equipment status, ensuring the highest level of reliability in power supply.

Mr. Truong Dinh Quoc, Secretary of the Party Committee and Director of Dong Nai Power Company, said: "This is a large-scale project with high technical requirements, strict safety standards, a tight construction schedule, and requires coordination with many units inside and outside the power industry. Putting the Long Thanh Airport 110kV Substation into operation not only adds another major power project to Dong Nai but also has special significance. The project ensures a stable, continuous, and high-quality power supply to serve key components such as: air traffic control systems, runway lighting, passenger terminals, security screening, technical centers, and other supporting systems."

For the company's officers and employees, it is a great source of pride to be able to contribute directly to a key national project, meeting the stringent technical requirements of the largest international airport in the country.

According to Vu Ngoc Long, Director of the Department of Industry and Trade, Long Thanh Airport is a key national project, representing the aspirations of Dong Nai province and the entire Southern key economic region. The 110kV Long Thanh Airport Substation is both an auxiliary technical component and a crucial project, having a decisive impact on the construction progress and operational quality of the airport.

The fact that Dong Nai Power Company has completed both investment phases and successfully connected to the airport's internal power grid just before the scheduled first test flight on December 19th is of immense significance.

According to the Director of the Department of Industry and Trade, the power supply infrastructure, in addition to serving the airport, is also the "lifeline" driving the development of the entire urban-industrial-logistics chain in the surrounding area in the future. Therefore, it is requested that Dong Nai Power Company manage and operate the project to ensure technical safety, stability, and continuity. The Department of Industry and Trade will coordinate with the power sector to continue reviewing and forecasting the load to prepare the power grid infrastructure for the next expansion phases of the airport as well as the surrounding areas, ensuring that the power infrastructure always precedes and closely follows the urban-industrial-logistics planning of the region.

We request that the Vietnam Airports Corporation (ACV) closely coordinate with Dong Nai Power Company in connecting and operating the internal power system, ensuring synchronization; regularly review the load, and develop long-term power supply scenarios to meet the development needs of the airport in subsequent phases.

At the same time, we request that the Southern Power Corporation and Dong Nai Power Company continue to pay attention to allocating resources and accelerating the progress of power projects included in Dong Nai province's planning, so that the power grid of Dong Nai province becomes increasingly modern and smart, meeting the requirements of rapid and sustainable development.
