Tan Lap Commune (Tan Bien District) meets advanced NTM standards

Attending the event were Mr. Truong Tan Dat - Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (DARD), Mr. Huynh Minh Ly - Standing Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Mr. Ho Hung Dung - Head of the District Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Troi - Standing Vice Chairman of the District People's Committee, leaders of the People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the district, agencies, departments, branches, unions of the district; leaders of communes and towns, and leaders of the government and people of Tan Lap commune.

As the second commune of the district selected to build advanced new-style rural areas, the Party Committee, government and people of Tan Lap commune have made efforts and mobilized all resources to complete 19/19 criteria for advanced new-style rural areas in the 2021-2025 period.

After 8 years of maintaining and upholding the NTM criteria, by 2022 the commune continued to mobilize 67 billion VND to build advanced NTM. Of which, the state budget was over 17.7 billion VND to invest in building infrastructure, paving and concreting 15 traffic projects, building 2 new hamlet cultural houses, and repairing the commune's Cultural, Sports and Community Learning Center.

To date, 100% of hamlet and inter-hamlet roads with a total length of 9.42 km have been hardened and ensured to be bright, green, clean and beautiful. Of which, people donated land for road construction and labor days worth a total of 764 million VND, while businesses and communities contributed more than 7.3 billion VND to build and repair infrastructure and carry out social security work.

The commune promotes all available potential and resources to promote agricultural development. In the area, there is one OCOP product (super early Thai jackfruit) that meets 3-star standards.

The whole commune has 28 companies, 22 private enterprises, 1 agricultural cooperative, 6 closed livestock farms. The annual growth rate of production value always meets the target, the average income per capita in 2022 is 78.1 million VND/person/year.

100% of schools meet national standards, 100% of public places have free wifi. Multidimensional poverty rate has decreased to 0.19%, 5/5 hamlets maintain cultural hamlets; the rate of people participating in health insurance is over 95%.

Political security and social order and safety are maintained stably.

On behalf of the provincial leaders, Mr. Truong Tan Dat - Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development awarded the certificate of recognition of meeting the advanced NTN standards in 2022 to the leaders of Tan Lap commune.

On this occasion, the Provincial People's Committee awarded 1 individual with achievements in organizing and implementing the movement "Tay Ninh joins hands to build new rural areas" in 2022; the District People's Committee awarded 2 collectives and 3 individuals; the Commune People's Committee awarded 5 collectives and 26 individuals.
