Vinh Khuc Commune receives Certificate of recognition as a model new-style rural commune

On May 9, Vinh Khuc commune (Van Giang) held a ceremony to receive the Certificate of recognition as a model new rural commune (NTM) in 2024. Attending the ceremony were comrade Le Van Hung, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Secretary of Van Giang District Party Committee.

After achieving the advanced NTM standard in 2020, the Party Committee, government and people of Vinh Khuc commune continue to maintain, uphold and improve the quality of the criteria, striving to build a commune that meets the model NTM standard in 2024. In the period of 2021 - 2024, the commune mobilized over 235 billion VND to build NTM.

Implementing the Cultural criteria in building a model new rural area, up to now, 100% of the commune's villages have achieved the title of "Cultural Village" for at least 3 consecutive years up to the time of assessment and proposal for recognition as a model new rural commune.

Performance at the ceremony

The movement to build “Cultural Villages” has developed evenly in all villages with increasing quantity and quality. For 5 consecutive years (from 2019 to 2023), 11/11 villages in the commune have maintained the title of “Cultural Village”. 100% of villages have independent cultural houses, invested in equipment to serve the cultural, artistic, physical education and sports needs of the people.

100% of villages have art and sports clubs that attract a large number of people to participate. Every year, over 90% of households in the commune are recognized as cultural families...

Awarding Certificate of recognition for Vinh Khuc commune meeting new rural model standards in 2024

With the results in building a model new rural area, on February 24, 2025, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee signed Decision No. 408/QD-UBND recognizing Vinh Khuc commune as a model new rural area in culture in 2024.

On this occasion, the People and cadres of Vinh Khuc commune were awarded a Certificate of Merit by the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for their outstanding achievements in the emulation movement "The whole country joins hands to build new rural areas" in the period of 2021-2025; many collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in the movement to build new rural areas were awarded at all levels.
