The land border between Vietnam and Cambodia is approximately 1,137km long, starting at landmark number 0 at the intersection of the three countries' borders Vietnam - Cambodia - Laos. Vietnam has coordinated with Laos and Cambodia to successfully organize many activities to celebrate important events.

With the desire to protect the fundamental interests of the people of each country, consolidate and strengthen the friendly neighborly relations between the three countries, create a peaceful, friendly and long-term cooperative border area; On the basis of the principles of complete equality, respect for independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity, and respect for each other's legitimate interests. The border intersection between the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, the Kingdom of Cambodia and the Lao People's Democratic Republic is located at the intersection of the Vietnam-Cambodia, Vietnam-Laos and Cambodia-Laos borders, on the top of a mountain with an altitude of 1086 on the map. This point is 3.11 km southeast of the point with an altitude of 918 in the territory of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, 2.30 km southwest of the point with an altitude of 930 in the territory of the Kingdom of Cambodia, and 1.83 km northwest of the point with an altitude of 905 in the territory of the Lao People's Democratic Republic (measured on the attached map of the Vietnam-Cambodia-Laos border intersection treaty at a scale of 1/50,000). The geographical coordinates of the border intersection between the three countries are 14 0 41'09.80'' North latitude; 107 0 33'23.79'' East longitude; Perpendicular coordinates are X = 1625161.02 m; Y = 775331.60 m; actual elevation 1081 m, the above data are measured in the field. The border intersection between the three countries is indicated by a red dot, which is the center of a circle with a diameter of 3mm, showing the location of the marker on the 1/50,000 scale map confirmed by the three signatories. Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos have signed an agreement to plant a granite marker at the border intersection between the three countries. The good neighborly relations, traditional friendship, comprehensive cooperation, long-term sustainability between Vietnam and Cambodia and the great friendship, special solidarity, comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Laos are increasingly deepening and becoming more practical, which is the solid foundation of the solidarity and close relationship between the three parties and the three countries. The three countries also continue to implement the tripartite cooperation mechanisms of the government, parliament , ministries, branches and organizations to contribute to promoting cooperation, as well as establishing a number of new cooperation mechanisms, including the Program for training and fostering young cadres of the three countries in Vietnam. The tripartite committee-level cooperation mechanisms between the three National Assemblies have been formed and organized periodically every two years on a rotational basis.
