According to Lam Dong Department of Agriculture , in the past 5 years, the province has built 10 high-yield beef cattle breeding models of Red Angus and BBB breeds in 7 districts in the area.
Of which, 3 districts Duc Trong, Lam Ha, Cat Tien, each district has 2 models; 4 districts Dam Rong, Di Linh, Da Huoai and Da Teh, each district has 1 model.
The industry has also supported 52 poor and near-poor households to mechanically increase 52 Zebu cows in the 4 districts of Dam Rong, Lam Ha, Duc Trong and Cat Tien; 2 projects linking high-yield beef cattle production with consumption; 4 beef cattle fattening models; 118 calves for 120 households participating in the linkage.
In addition, the industry also organized basic and advanced training courses on artificial insemination techniques for cows with 66 participants; training for 57 junior teachers on management processes and techniques for raising high-yielding beef cattle; 31 training courses on how to use and install and transfer beef farm management software for about 1,300 participants...
