As soon as there were resolutions and projects of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, and Provincial People's Committee on building a pilot model of a cultural heritage site, Tam Dao District Party Committee established a Steering Committee to implement the Project to build a pilot model of a cultural heritage site and assigned tasks to the Steering Committee members.
Five villages including Dong Ca village (Bo Ly commune), Luc Lieu village (Dao Tru commune), Dong Pheo village (Yen Duong commune), Dong Bua village (Tam Quan commune) and Ban Long village (Minh Quang commune) were selected to develop the LVHKM. These are villages that preserve traditional cultural features and have favorable conditions to preserve and promote cultural identity to serve socio-economic development, especially tourism development.
The district has directed specialized departments, associations, unions and localities to disseminate to cadres, party members and people the policy of building LVHKM. Dialogues were organized with people in villages selected to build LVHKM so that people fully understand the purpose, meaning, rights, responsibilities and obligations in building the model. Thereby, creating consensus, response and mobilizing practical contributions in both material and spiritual terms from the people.

With the determination of the entire political system, the goals, tasks and key solutions identified in Resolution No. 19 of the Provincial Party Committee have been effectively implemented by Tam Dao district.
Up to now, the LVHKMs have been planned with space and landscape architecture that harmonizes tradition and modernity, and cultural values are preserved. The socio-economic infrastructure has been invested synchronously, creating connections with localities and tourist destinations, facilitating economic development and cultural exchange.
The district promptly implemented a policy to support loans for production, business and service development for households through the Bank for Social Policies with a total capital of 15.5 billion VND. Promoting the advantages of tourism development, many household-scale production and business models were formed such as convenience stores, household gardens, community and ecological tourism, etc.
Many typical agricultural products that meet standards are promoted and introduced, and businesses sign contracts to purchase the products... thereby creating jobs and increasing income for people.
Through the movements of building a cultural life in residential areas and "All people unite to build a cultural life in residential areas", activities to preserve and promote local cultural, historical and traditional values are promoted.
The implementation of a civilized lifestyle and the practice of thrift in weddings, funerals, and festivals have been widely implemented by Party committees, authorities, the Fatherland Front, and organizations. Cultural, artistic, and sports movements have taken place vigorously, attracting the participation of all classes of people.
Associations and unions in residential areas diversify forms of helping each other reduce poverty and do good business, thanks to which, the cultural and spiritual life of the people is improved, the rate of poor households decreases, the number of well-off and rich households increases, security and order are ensured, social evils are pushed back...
The initial successes in building the LVHKM have created a strong motivation for Tam Dao district to continue successfully implementing the criteria for the LVHKM to develop comprehensively and sustainably in terms of economy, culture, society, environment, and improve the material and spiritual life of the people.
