Building Party organizations within enterprises.

Mai Linh Thanh Hoa Co., Ltd. is one of the first businesses in Thanh Hoa city to establish a Party branch. From its initial establishment in 2005 with 21 members, the company later established a Party Committee in 2018, and now boasts 61 Party members operating across 6 branches. In fulfilling its important role, the Party Committee has implemented many innovative approaches, reorganizing the staff effectively, clearly defining the roles, responsibilities, and authority of some indirect staff members to maximize their enthusiasm and capabilities. Simultaneously, it has promoted the pioneering and exemplary role of Party members in building a professional and responsible workforce, especially its drivers. Furthermore, it has applied technology in ride-hailing and payment systems to adapt, survive, and thrive in today's competitive environment.

In its early days, the Party cell of Hong Duc Educational Equipment Joint Stock Company had only 3 members. Over time, the cell now has 23 members out of a total of 150 cadres and employees, representing 15.3%. The Party Committee has consistently provided timely information and disseminated to cadres and Party members the policies, resolutions, leadership, and directives of higher-level Party committees, as well as state laws and current domestic and international affairs, through various flexible and appropriate methods. As a result, from the leadership to the employees, the company maintains stable morale and unity, creating numerous educational equipment, furniture, and office supplies that meet consumer needs and contribute to the company's steady growth.

However, currently, the ratio of Party organizations to the total number of enterprises, and the number of Party members to the total workforce in the private sector, remains low. The province has over 200 enterprises with Party organizations, comprising more than 9,000 Party members who are managers, leaders, and employees, accounting for approximately 1.8% of the total number of enterprises. The main reason is that most enterprises prioritize production, business, profit, and revenue; workers and employees are primarily concerned with employment and income. Many business owners have not adequately recognized the position and role of Party and mass organizations within their enterprises, are reluctant to establish Party branches, and have not facilitated employees' participation in political training courses, thus hindering the development of Party members.

Despite facing numerous challenges in building Party organizations and developing Party members, the majority of Party committees and organizations in enterprises in Thanh Hoa have effectively played their role as political nuclei, thereby gradually affirming the role of Party organizations in enterprises. This also serves as a foundation for the Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee to implement further policies and propaganda to develop both the quantity and quality of Party members in Party organizations within enterprises in the future.
