Build Vinh Hien commune into a town before 2025

Reporting at the meeting, Vinh Hien Commune Party Secretary Nguyen Van Loi said that Vinh Hien is a coastal commune of Phu Loc district, has a large area, and has strengths in developing marine and lagoon economy .

With the economic structure in the direction of "Service - agriculture - small industry", in 2022, the average income per capita of the commune reached 69.3 million VND; the total budget revenue in the area reached 8,225 billion VND. The poverty rate has gradually decreased every year. If in 2022, the total number of poor households was 105 households (205 people), now, it has decreased by 40 households. The remaining 65 poor households of the commune will continue to decrease in the coming time.

The commune Party Committee has 147 members, operating in 14 affiliated Party cells. In recent years, Vinh Hien Commune Party Committee has always focused on Party building. Party member development has always been concerned with both quantity and quality.

Every year, the Commune Party Committee has issued a plan to assign specific Party member development targets to its subordinate Party cells. Since the beginning of the term, Vinh Hien Commune Party Committee has developed 12 new Party members (reaching 60% of the target set by the Congress Resolution). On January 19, 2023, the Provincial People's Committee issued Decision No. 257, recognizing Vinh Hien new urban area as meeting the criteria of a Type V Urban Area...

At the working session, many issues were deeply analyzed and clarified by Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Phan Ngoc Tho and the working delegation of the Provincial Party Committee and Phu Loc District Party Committee, with the goal of successfully implementing the targets and tasks set out in 2023 and the following years, especially poverty reduction, developing new Party members, and improving the quality of Party organizations and Party members.

Concluding the meeting, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Phan Ngoc Tho highly appreciated the achievements of the Party Committee, government and people of Vinh Hien commune in recent times. The team of secretaries and village chiefs of the commune is increasingly young, capable and enthusiastic in their assigned work.

Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Phan Ngoc Tho shared that the goal of the Working Group is to learn about the current situation of the Party Committee, in order to find solutions to improve the capacity of the Party Committee, the quality of the staff and Party members, especially at the village level.

The Vinh Hien Commune Party Committee seriously accepts the comments and suggestions of the Provincial Party Committee and Phu Loc District Party Committee to soon add them to the Party Committee's program and plan for 2023, the mid-term plan for 2020 - 2025 and the following years, in order to focus on leadership and direction for the most effective implementation.

Unifying the viewpoint on the successful implementation of resolutions, programs, plans... associated with the roles, responsibilities, and specific implementation capacity of the leaders of the Party Committee and Vinh Hien commune government.

Focus on building a team of professional, proficient, and skilled Party committees to continuously improve the leadership capacity and fighting strength of the committees; direct the continued promotion and effective implementation of the building and implementation of the operating regulations of village Party cells.

Focus on leading and directing socio-economic development to effectively exploit and promote the potential and advantages of the marine and lagoon economy; effectively mobilize resources to promote investment and build infrastructure, cultural and social institutions; improve the quality of criteria, strive to build Vinh Hien commune into a town before 2025.
