In recent days, soldiers from the Cavalry Mobile Police Corps and the Center for Training and Use of Service Animals (K02) have been diligently practicing difficult techniques to perform in the program "Glory of the People's Public Security of Vietnam" taking place at Hoan Kiem Lake ( Hanoi ) this weekend.
The Cavalry Mobile Police Group (K02 - Mobile Police Command, Ministry of Public Security ) is temporarily stationed at the Mountainous Livestock Research and Development Center in Binh Son Commune, Song Cong City ( Thai Nguyen ), about 90 km from Hanoi.
Over the past month, the soldiers of the Cavalry Mobile Police have been actively practicing to ensure they bring professional, impressive, and beautiful performances to the people of the Capital this weekend.
The content of controlling horses in a block formation, the horse breed selected as cavalry must be in good health, highly adaptable to harsh conditions, able to fight, transport weapons, military uniforms, military provisions, rescue in complex terrain areas, remote areas where cars, motorbikes, and special vehicles cannot maneuver; organize patrols to ensure security and order in cities and tourist destinations.
The opening ceremony is a parade with the participation of 44 horses controlled by cavalry mobile police officers. Immediately after that, the team will perform a performance of highly difficult skills such as trotting in a row, jumping on and off the horse in an emergency, controlling the horse at high speed combined with the use of Tonfa sticks, 1m2 sticks...
In particular, for the skill of controlling a lying horse, soldiers will use verbal commands combined with movements to guide the horse to lie down and stand up as requested by the commander. This technique demonstrates obedience and the ability to train properly, helping the horse to be ready for combat in all situations.
Sharing with PV Dan Viet about the content of the Mobile Police Cavalry Group in the program "Glory of the People's Public Security of Vietnam" in the Hoan Kiem Lake area (Hanoi), Lieutenant Colonel Le Si Ha (Deputy Head of the Mobile Police Cavalry Group) said: "The upcoming ceremony will have some content using professional horses performed by officers and soldiers such as: Controlling horses in a parade formation; Technique of controlling horses to run in a horizontal line; Technique of controlling horses to run freely; Freeing both hands; Technique of jumping on and off horses in emergency cases; Technique of controlling horses to run freely; Combining the use of Tonfa sticks, 1m2 sticks; Technique of controlling lying horses". These are very difficult horse control techniques, requiring absolute balance from both cavalry and horses, demonstrating the smooth coordination and skillful skills of the soldiers.
Along with that, at the Center for Training and Using Service Animals, Mobile Police Command (K02), to prepare for the program "Glory to the People's Public Security of Vietnam", officers and soldiers at the center also diligently trained service dogs to perform performances from simple to complex, requiring high precision and difficulty.
Currently, the Center for Training and Using Working Animals is training 5 main dog breeds including Berger, Malinois, Labrador, Rottweiler, Cocker with 3 professional specialties; Protection and detection of human scent; Drug detection; Explosive detection.
These are dog breeds with excellent characteristics such as good hearing, sharp eyes, sensitive nose, sharp teeth, and strong health. All are carefully selected and arranged to suit each specialty and each different task.
During the training, officers, soldiers and service dogs will have to perform many movements and exercises from easy to difficult such as listening to commands to stand, sit, crawl, crawl, overcome obstacles, attack criminals, rescue, check and detect drugs, explosives...
During the break, witnessing the close bond between the trainer and the police dog, we deeply felt this special connection. Sharing about the bond and special feelings and emotions with the trained dogs, Lieutenant Nguyen Tran Cong Huan - Officer of the Service Animal Use Team - Service Animal Training & Use Center (K02) said: " I have raised 3 dogs, of which 1 is old and weak, not in good health, 1 dog has been handed over to another officer or soldier, and Blue is the 3rd dog I take care of. If one day I have to be separated from Blue during a mission, I will feel very sad because Blue has been an extremely close friend to me for the past 5 years".
