The exhibition takes place on two floors at Nha Lam Art (602/45E Dien Bien Phu, Ward 22, Binh Thanh District, Ho Chi Minh City). The ground floor displays watercolor paintings by Ho Hung and Lotus Gallery, while the upper floor continues to showcase watercolor paintings, antique ceramics, and wooden furniture. With the aim of "bringing art closer to the public," the organizers designed the exhibition space as a warm and welcoming meeting place.
Nha Lam Art held its exhibition launch on the evening of November 30th.
Specifically, Ho Hung's watercolor collection presents to the public some of the artist's most outstanding works (which were showcased in July of this year in the exhibition "Small Emotions ").

One of the most interesting collections in the exhibition is ceramics, mostly pieces collected from the Bien Hoa School of Fine Arts and the Thanh Le workshop.
According to Ms. Nguyen Giang Xuan, founder of Nha Lam Art, this ceramic collection was gathered from many countries, not just Vietnam. Besides ceramic works from the Bien Hoa School of Fine Arts and the Thanh Le workshop, others were purchased and shipped directly from international ceramic auctions, resulting in some very unique pieces. Many other pieces were collected from ceramic connoisseurs themselves, so almost each piece contains its own story.
At the recent informal gathering to launch the exhibition, the organizers introduced the characteristics of ceramics from the Bien Hoa School of Fine Arts and ceramics from the Thanh Le workshop; about the patterns, colors, styles, as well as some other ceramic works.
Timeless cultural stories
Nha Lam Art's exhibition space for ceramics and paintings.
The exhibition 's concept is to introduce viewers to timeless cultural stories, not just stories of ancient pottery. Among them, the pottery works from the Bien Hoa School of Fine Arts and the Thanh Le workshop have the most stories to tell, as their origins are steeped in history.
The pottery from the Bien Hoa School of Fine Arts is unique in its glaze blending techniques and the skill of its artisans. The pottery here is considered pioneering in combining Vietnamese and Western elements from the early 20th century, emphasizing the practicality of the finished product.
As for Thanh Le Workshop, ceramics are one of the product lines that the workshop has focused on developing since its establishment in the early 1960s, alongside lacquer paintings. The workshop's ceramic works are special because of their incised carvings, creating a strong impression with multicolored glaze dots and highly detailed patterns covering the entire product. At the same time, the workshop emphasizes the uniqueness and individuality of each piece, so most products are produced over a long period, with a rigorous selection process in terms of artistic merit. Notably, although Thanh Le Workshop's ceramic works were established later than those of the Bien Hoa School of Fine Arts, they later gained fame both domestically and internationally, and Mr. Thanh Le has received many orders from around the world .
Ms. Nguyen Giang Xuan shared that because these are all valuable works, the prices have been fixed and there will be no haggling to avoid diminishing the value of the products or the experience of the viewers. The " Naturally Dreamy " exhibition is taking place. From December 1st to December 15th.
