Regarding the incident in which a group of people suddenly used weapons to attack the headquarters of the People's Committees of Ea Tieu and Ea Ktur communes (Cu Kuin district), up to now, the provincial police at all levels have discovered and handled more than 100 cases of posting bad and toxic information on social networks.

At the police station, T. said that because he wanted to warn people to be careful, he did not verify the information before posting it. After working with the authorities, T. realized that posting the above information was false and pledged not to repeat the offense.

Previously, on June 14, Ea H'leo District Police also decided to fine NCC in Village 4 (Ea Hiao Commune) VND 5 million for taking advantage of personal social network TikTok to post many untrue video clips about the attack on two commune People's Committee headquarters in Cu Kuin District with titles that attract likes, disrupting information on cyberspace.
At the police station, C. admitted that due to lack of knowledge, he took videos of military aircraft and images of unknown origin from the internet and posted them. Ea H'leo District Police asked C. to remove the infringing content and promised not to repeat the offense.
According to statistics from the Department of Cyber Security and High-Tech Crime Prevention (Provincial Police), from June 12 to now, the unit has coordinated with the Police of districts, towns and cities to detect and handle more than 100 cases of posting bad and toxic information related to the incident in Cu Kuin district.
The violations were mainly re-sharing information from Facebook, TikTok pages... of individuals for the purpose of interacting on social networks; therefore, after being explained, they realized their wrongdoing, removed the post themselves and wrote a commitment not to repeat the offense.

Regarding the incident in Cu Kuin district, on June 14, Lieutenant General To An Xo, spokesman for the Ministry of Public Security, said that according to the report of the provincial police, the security and order situation in the whole province has returned to normal.

Therefore, the Department of Cyber Security and High-Tech Crime Prevention (Provincial Police) recommends that when using social networks, each citizen needs to check the source of information, accuracy, avoid falling into the trap of bad elements, especially when facing information and images from personal pages or anti-state organizations. Posting unverified information or fabricating false information will be handled according to the provisions of the law, if serious consequences occur, it may be subject to criminal prosecution.
