These are specific stories told vividly such as: “From the pink brick to the revolutionary press house”, “Journalism in prison”, “Along the resistance road”, “The wars still continue” or “Journalism in the flow of technology”… The book not only recreates slices of the history of 100 years of revolutionary journalism but also clarifies the nature of journalists – soldiers.
Through these fascinating and touching stories about journalism, readers can also partly visualize the process of building and growing up of the Party's key press agencies such as: Nhan Dan Newspaper, Voice of Vietnam Radio , Vietnam News Agency, People's Army Newspaper... In which, each article, each story originating from the rich working practices of the authors has become an important piece in the process of 100 years of journalism accompanying the nation.

“100 stories of the profession” conveys messages about the life of revolutionary journalism in Vietnam over the past century, through historical periods, more than 500 journalists have fallen in wars, tens of thousands of journalists continue to stand side by side and build glorious writing careers. Generations of Vietnamese journalists have strived to step by step rise up, building a “pioneering, innovative” journalism that contributes worthily to the development of the nation and people.
