Which bank has the highest interest rate now?
Wooribank announced an interest rate of up to 11%/year. However, customers of this savings package must deposit periodically every month for 2 years with a minimum amount of VND100,000 and a maximum of VND5 million.
This 11%/year interest rate includes a base interest rate of 7%/year, 1%/year for new customers, 1%/year when opening a visa card, 1%/year when opening a Wooribank online account and 1%/year when participating in the program without closing savings before 6 months.
PVcomBank applies an interest rate of up to 10%/year for a 12-13 month term with a minimum deposit of VND2,000 billion. The above interest rate applies to a fairly large deposit of VND2,000 billion.
HDBank also applies a fairly high interest rate, 8.2%/year for a 13-month term, with a much lower minimum balance requirement, only 300 billion VND.

For the 6-month term, the bank with the highest interest rate is Cake by VPBank at 5.2%, followed by CB at 5.1% and NCB at 5.05%. The bank with the lowest interest rate for this term is Agribank at 3% and Vietcombank also at 3%.
For a 12-month term, the bank with the highest interest rate is HDBank at 7.8%, followed by PVcomBank at 10%.
The bank with the lowest interest rate for this term is ABBank with 4.3%, GPBank 4.6%, MSB 4.6%.
With a 24-month term, the banks with the highest interest rates are Nam A Bank and OCB at 5.8%. The banks with the lowest interest rates for this term are ABBank at 4.4% and MSB at 4.6%.
