Many locations at risk of landslides appear in Da Lat

(Dan Tri) - Authorities identified 5 locations where land cracks and landslides appeared, directly affecting 5 households.

On November 4, authorities of Da Lat city, Lam Dong province inspected an area at risk of landslides in Xuan Truong commune, Da Lat city.

Here, the authorities recorded 5 locations where cracks and landslides appeared. Of these, 4 locations at risk of landslides are in Truong Vinh village and 1 location is in Truong Son village.

The People's Committee of Xuan Truong commune has blocked off the scene and assigned forces to guard and prevent people from approaching the landslide site to ensure safety.

It is known that the People's Committee of Da Lat city has requested the People's Committee of Xuan Truong commune to organize the evacuation of 5 households with 20 people in dangerous areas to safe places; coordinate with local people to use stone cages to block landslide locations; reinstall appropriate drainage pipes; continue to inspect to promptly detect and promptly handle landslide-prone areas.
