On the afternoon of May 22, the State Securities Commission and the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange (HoSE) officially announced that there was a unit impersonating HoSE to provide financial and securities investment services, and solicit investors in groups on social networking sites.
According to HoSE, recently, a number of financial/securities investment service providers have used the logo and abbreviation of HoSE to invite investors in groups on social networking sites.

HoSE confirmed that the above information is fake. The Securities Law stipulates that apart from the Vietnam Stock Exchange and its subsidiaries (HoSE and Hanoi Stock Exchange), no organization or individual is allowed to organize and operate the securities trading market.
The subjects have taken advantage of HoSE's image and information to attract investors to participate. Investors may face risks when disputes arise and their rights and interests are not protected by the law on securities and the securities market.
HoSE recommends that investors be cautious and carefully research invitations to participate in securities investment to avoid being scammed in securities trading activities.
To refer to information disclosures of market members as well as announcements on HoSE, investors access the official information portal of HoSE via the website www.hsx.vn and the fanpage https://www.facebook.com/HochiminhStockExchange .
