In the short term, global coffee prices are forecast to continue to fall due to new crop sales pressure from the world’s largest producer and exporter. However, the rate of decline will slow down due to concerns about supply shortages and forecasts that Vietnam’s coffee output in the harvest at the end of this year will decrease by about 10%.

According to the report of the National Coffee Federation (FNC) in Colombia, Arabica coffee production in the first 9 months of the 2022/2023 crop year reached 7,919 thousand bags, down 14.8% compared to the same crop year 2021/20233; exports reached 7,808 thousand bags, down 16.8%.

In addition, favorable weather information has supported Brazilian growers to harvest the new Robusta coffee crop in the final stage and the Arabica coffee crop at its peak.
