Exporting nearly 50 thousand tons of fresh lychee to the Chinese market through Lao Cai Border Gate

According to the synthesis of the functional sector, from the beginning of the season until now, the total output of fresh lychee exported through Lao Cai Border Gate has reached nearly 50 thousand tons.

It is currently the end of the lychee season, so each day there are only nearly 200 tons of fresh lychee exported through Lao Cai Border Gate.

Recently, authorities at Lao Cai border gate have coordinated to create maximum conditions for agricultural export activities, especially fresh lychee.

In particular, implementing priority flow for exporting fresh lychee; receiving and completing customs and quarantine procedures early, ensuring that as soon as the border gate opens, lychee products are cleared immediately and completed in the morning every day.

Therefore, more businesses have participated in exporting fresh lychee from some localities in the country to the Chinese market through Lao Cai border gate.

Trucks carrying fresh lychees are given priority for export.

Since the beginning of the season, Lao Cai International Border Gate Customs has cleared nearly 3,600 trucks carrying fresh lychee for export, with a total weight of nearly 50,000 tons, with a turnover of over 30 million USD.
