Emotional ceremony of former President Tran Duc Luong's coffin being brought home

On the way back to his hometown of Quang Ngai, the coffin of former President Tran Duc Luong was carried by hearse to his private home on Van Phuc Street, Ba Dinh, Hanoi.

From 7:00 a.m. on May 25, people around Van Phuc Street stopped many activities and headed to the National Funeral Home for the memorial service.

On Van Phuc street, youth volunteers and grassroots security forces coordinate with traffic police, public security, and mobile police to ensure security.

At 8:10 a.m., the hearse carrying the coffin of former President Tran Duc Luong passed by his private residence. The motorcade stopped for about 5 minutes for relatives to bring in his portrait and burn incense before taking the coffin to Noi Bai Airport.

Relatives of former President Tran Duc Luong leave their home to move to Noi Bai Airport.
