Quang Ngai: Completed landslide repair on provincial roads 672 and 673

(QNgTV) - In the face of landslides on Provincial Road 672 in the western communes of Quang Ngai province, the authorities have urgently resolved the situation. After 3 days of construction, Provincial Road 672 has now been reopened, ensuring safety for people and vehicles.

Provincial Road 672 through Mang Ri Commune ( Quang Ngai Province) was eroded and the roadbed was filled.

At Km4+050, Km13+150, Km4+150, Km7+800 on the Ngoc Hoan - Mang But - Tu Mo Rong - Ngoc Linh road in the area of two communes Mang Ri and Ngoc Linh, there was a large landslide, hundreds of cubic meters of earth and rock spilled onto Provincial Road 672, endangering people passing by.

The Department of Construction of Quang Ngai province directed management units to quickly deploy vehicles and equipment to level and move rocks and soil to clear the road. At Km0+800, Km2+035, Km2+750, Km10+100 in Mang Ri commune, small landslides appeared, dozens of cubic meters of rocks and soil were also cleared and safely reinforced.

Heavy rains in recent days caused landslides at Km2+500, Provincial Road 673 in Dak Plo commune, trees fell and traffic was cut off. Authorities mobilized bulldozers and excavators to clear the road, remove soil and trees, and clear the road immediately.

Up to now, Provincial Roads 672 and 673 have been opened, ensuring safety for people and vehicles.
