Yamaha XMAX 300 2025 is an upgraded version of the model that has been known to Vietnamese consumers in recent years. In this comeback, Yamaha focuses on adjusting details to perfect the driver experience instead of making comprehensive changes to the design. The vehicle's appearance still carries the typical language of the MAX Series, expressed through the powerful binocular-shaped dual LED headlights, combined with modern positioning lights for a dynamic and sharp appearance.
The aerodynamic design continues to be maintained, but the company has refined some small details such as the new exhaust cluster that reduces the vehicle's weight by about 800 grams compared to the previous generation. This slight reduction promises to improve operational flexibility, especially in crowded urban environments. One of the most notable upgrades on the XMAX 300 2025 is the all-new display system. The vehicle is equipped with a dual-screen cluster: a 4.2-inch color TFT screen acts as a multimedia information display center, connecting to the phone via the Y-Connect application. Next to it is a 3.2-inch monochrome LCD screen that provides basic operating information such as speed, fuel level, and trip. Notably, the XMAX 300 2025 has an electrically adjustable windshield, a feature usually only found on high-end large-displacement motorbikes.
This feature allows the driver to actively adjust the windshield height according to weather conditions, speed or driving position, providing significant comfort when traveling long distances. In terms of power, the XMAX 300 2025 remains loyal to the Blue Core single-cylinder, 292cc, liquid-cooled engine. The engine produces a maximum capacity of 28 horsepower and a maximum torque of 29 Nm. This engine block has been refined to meet Euro 5+ emission standards, contributing to reducing emissions into the environment while still ensuring performance. According to Yamaha's announcement, the vehicle's fuel consumption is 3.26 liters/100 km. Currently, Yamaha XMAX 300 is being officially distributed through the Revzone Yamaha Motor system nationwide, with a listed price of 139 million VND. Compared to competitors in the same segment or privately imported vehicles, this price is considered quite competitive, especially when considering the list of amenities that the vehicle possesses.
Authorized dealers have begun accepting deposits for the 2025 version, while the first batch of vehicles is expected to be delivered shortly after the launch in late May. Yamaha's holding of a separate launch event for the XMAX 300 in Hanoi not only shows the strategic importance of this vehicle line, but also reflects the shift in the consumption trend of large-displacement scooters in Vietnam. As domestic users increasingly value comfort, sporty style and flexible operation, maxi-scooter models such as the XMAX 300 are gradually becoming an alternative to mid-size motorcycles or high-end popular scooters. In the Vietnamese market, the Yamaha XMAX 300 2025 will have to compete fiercely with its "compatriot", the Honda SH350i.
