Yen Bai - On April 4, the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of Yen Bai Provincial Party Committee coordinated with the Provincial People's Committee to organize a press conference for the first quarter and deploy tasks for the second quarter of 2025.

Comrade Nguyen Minh Tuan - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission chaired the Conference.

In the first quarter of 2025, under the direction and orientation of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Committee, the Provincial Journalists Association, local press agencies, and central press agencies residing in the province will continue to adhere to the principles and purposes, promoting the role of the press in information, propaganda, and orienting public opinion.

In addition to disseminating the implementation and results of political - economic - cultural - social tasks in the province, in the first quarter of 2025, press agencies devoted a large amount of time to disseminating the results of socio-economic development of the country and the province in 2024 as well as the tasks and solutions that need to be implemented in 2025. At the same time, actively disseminating activities to celebrate the Lunar New Year 2025; production activities, projects, investment cooperation programs, groundbreaking of key projects, activities to celebrate major holidays and important events of the country and the province.

In particular, press agencies have promoted information on the implementation of the summary of Resolution No. 18 of the 12th Central Executive Committee "Some issues on continuing to innovate and reorganize the apparatus of the political system to be streamlined and operate effectively and efficiently"; Action Program No. 246 of the Provincial Party Committee on leading the implementation of political tasks in 2025. Thereby, creating a vivid and colorful social picture in the material and spiritual life of people in the province.

At the Conference, delegates listened to the leaders of the Provincial Department of Science and Technology provide specialized information on "Implementation of Resolution No. 57 - NQ/TW dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation and national digital transformation in Yen Bai province". At the same time, representatives of press agencies and journalists discussed, proposed and recommended a number of solutions to improve the quality of propaganda work in the coming time.

Concluding the Conference, Comrade Nguyen Minh Tuan - Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department requested press agencies, reporters and journalists to continue to enhance their sense of responsibility, creativity and initiative in performing their tasks, constantly innovate, quickly adapt to changes and fluctuations to continue promoting and enhancing the effectiveness of the press's role in the current difficult and challenging context.

In particular, it is important to focus on improving the quality of information and propaganda, promoting ideology and attractiveness; ensuring planning, specificity and initiative in propagating the province's political tasks. After the merger, Yen Bai Newspaper, agencies and units need to quickly stabilize the organizational structure, perfect personnel, build working regulations, and operate synchronously and uniformly.

Leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of the province awarded support to authors and groups of authors with excellent press works in the first quarter of 2025.

At the same time, pay attention to innovating the content and methods of information transmission, improving the quality of publications and programs; continue to strongly promote digital transformation and application of modern technology; do a good job of ideological work so that reporters and journalists maintain their stance and ideology, do not panic or waver, affecting the process of performing tasks. Strengthen news and articles to propagate the potential and strengths of the province; highlight the results achieved in implementing policies, performing political tasks, promoting the image of Yen Bai land and people.

The Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission also emphasized a number of key tasks in information and propaganda work in the second quarter of 2025. In particular, the provincial press agencies and resident agencies, representatives of the Central press in the province need to step up propaganda on the implementation of research, propose to continue to rearrange the organization of the political system according to the Central's Conclusion and the guidance of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission; well implement the contents and tasks of propaganda towards the 14th National Congress of the Party under the direction of the Central and the Provincial Party Committee; propagate the implementation of laws and resolutions recently passed at the 9th Extraordinary Session of the 15th National Assembly; continue to propagate about the new era - the era of national development.
