According to the representative of the Department of Food Safety ( Ministry of Health ), through post-inspection of food product announcement and advertising, the Department of Food Safety discovered a number of products of N - Collagen Import Export Company Limited (address at 28 Lot B, resettlement area (TDC) Phu Dinh River Port, Ward 16, District 8, Ho Chi Minh City) advertised by an individual with the nickname "Ngan Collagen" for the products: Apple candy to eliminate belly fat, N-collagen Chanh plus... violating regulations.

The Food Safety Department has checked and reviewed the online public service software, the results show that the Department has not yet issued a Certificate of Acceptance of Product Declaration Registration and a Certificate of Confirmation of Advertising Content for the product named: Apple candy to eliminate belly fat and N-collagen lemon plus.

Through checking the internet environment, the label images of these two products show that the product group is a food supplement, with specific information:

The trader responsible for product quality: Bequen Company Limited, address: Dan Phuong Industrial Park, Dan Phuong Commune, Dan Phuong District, Hanoi City. Manufactured at: Vesco Pharmaceutical Company Limited, address: Dan Phuong Industrial Park, Dan Phuong Commune, Dan Phuong District, Hanoi City.

Pursuant to the provisions of Articles 4, 5 and Article 40 of Decree No. 15/2018/ND-CP detailing the implementation of a number of articles of the Law on Food Safety, the group of supplementary food products has been decentralized to local management.

Therefore, the Food Safety Department has issued an official dispatch requesting the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Food Safety and the Hanoi Department of Food Safety and Hygiene to urgently inspect and verify the production of the above products, and at the same time take samples for testing to determine banned substances (if any) for handling according to regulations.
