According to the list recently announced by the Department of Construction of Binh Duong province, as of May 2023, there are 40 commercial housing projects in the province, including a number of houses permitted to be sold to foreign organizations and individuals.
Projects allowed to sell to foreigners are mainly concentrated in Thu Dau Mot City with 15 projects (1,580 units), mainly concentrated in Hoa Phu and Chanh Nghia wards...; Thuan An City with 14 projects (2,048 units), concentrated in Binh Hoa, Lai Thieu and Thuan Giao wards...; Di An City with 8 projects (1,822 units), concentrated in Di An and Chanh Nghia wards... In addition, Ben Cat Town has 2 projects (396 units) and 1 project in Tan Uyen City (151 units).
With the total supply sold to foreigners reaching nearly 6,000 units as mentioned above, the number sold to foreigners only reached nearly 30% of the total supply, with 1,623 units sold or donated to foreign organizations and individuals. Of which, 480 houses have been granted certificates.
Some projects are on the list recently announced by the Department of Construction of Binh Duong province.
In addition to announcing the list of project sources for sale to foreigners, the Department of Construction of Binh Duong province also updated the list of housing projects in the province that are eligible to sell future houses.
Specifically, from March 2016 to May 2023, Binh Duong province has 99 projects mobilizing capital when selling future housing. Of which, from the beginning of 2023 to now, in the province, there are only 5 housing projects with a total of 2,070 houses eligible for sale.
Projects eligible for sale include: 1,002 units of the Star Apartment project (Dong Hoa ward, Di An city); 500 units of the Saigon Center Housing Project (Uyen Hung ward, Tan Uyen city), 178 units of the U&I An Phu Housing Project (An Phu ward, Thuan An city); 103 units of the Thuan An Land Housing Project (Thuan An ward, Thuan An city); 287 units of the U&I Thoi Hoa Housing Project (Thoi Hoa ward, Ben Cat town).
It is known that besides the traffic factor, the real estate market in the East of Binh Duong is also supported by the development of industrial parks such as VSIP, Song Than, Nam Tan Uyen, Uyen Hung, VSIP II, ... which are gathering tens of thousands of experts, engineers and workers to live and work. From there, there is a huge demand for housing, from apartments, cheap land, pre-built townhouses to villas for experts and businessmen. Therefore, projects that can be sold to foreigners are also concentrated in these areas.
