100 Chinese youth delegates to exchange in Vietnam from April 12 to 18

With the theme "Vietnamese - Chinese Youth: Firmly upholding ideals", the 24th Vietnam - China Youth Friendship Meeting will take place from April 12 to 18, 2025 in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and the two provinces of Quang Ninh and Ninh Binh.

The Secretariat of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee said that based on the 2025 foreign affairs plan of the Central Committee of the Youth Union approved by the Standing Committee of the Party Central Committee Secretariat; implementing the Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation between the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee and the Chinese Communist Youth Union Central Committee for the period 2024-2027, the Secretariat of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee organized to welcome the Chinese youth delegation to participate in the 24th Vietnam - China Youth Friendship Meeting in 2025.

The Chinese youth delegation, consisting of 100 delegates, is expected to be led by the First Secretary of the Central Secretariat of the Communist Youth League of China, divided into two groups with the main contents: Paying courtesy visits to the leaders of the Party and State of Vietnam; talks between the First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth League and the First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League of China; Forum "Vietnamese - Chinese Youth: Firmly upholding ideals".

Along with that, the youth delegations of the two countries will discuss and exchange experiences on the following issues: Youth theory work; youth solidarity, gathering and building of Youth Union and Association organizations; youth participation in socio-economic development and digital transformation. In addition, the delegates will visit some models of Vietnamese youth; visit local historical sites and scenic spots...

These activities are of great significance, aiming to concretize the results and the High-level Joint Statement, contributing to promoting to the young generation of the two countries about new developments in Vietnam-China relations, creating consensus and great support from the young generation and people for the relationship between the two countries; creating a favorable atmosphere for high-level visits between the two countries this year.

In addition, the program helps to enhance understanding, exchange and share experiences in Youth Union work and youth and children's movements between the Youth Union organizations of the two countries; promote and introduce the country, people and development achievements of Vietnam after nearly 40 years of renovation.

The Vietnam - China Youth Friendship Meeting is an annual, rotating activity organized between the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and the Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Youth Union since 2000.
