The "Project Incubator" includes 2 categories: Asian Art Film Project and Vietnamese Film Project for all genres, has selected 14 promising film projects, promising a fierce competition for the Best Project award.
The 3rd DANAFF not only brings quality and prestigious international cinema works to domestic audiences, but also introduces an important highlight: discovering, supporting and nurturing young Asian and Vietnamese cinema talents through the DANAFF talents area.
Ghost of the Currents (director Itt Patipan, co-director Kalil Pitsuwan, producer Papa Boontarig Thailand) is nominated in the Art Film Project category.

DANAFF Talents includes the continuation of the "Talent Incubation" training course - a successful program from the previous 2 seasons and the new program "Project Incubator".
The goal of DANAFF talents is to discover, nurture and create opportunities for Asian and Vietnamese film talents to realize "films on paper", while helping them take steady steps on the path of professional filmmaking.
14 film projects for 2 categories at the 3rd DANAFF
In the Art-house film project category, the selected projects are: Another story about love and hope (director Yanqi Chen, producer Huihui Lou), The Balloon (director Noor Imran Mithu Bangladesh, producer Ssam Seonkyu Park Korea), No money no honey (director Etsen Chen, producer Brendan Huang, Taiwan, China), In between worlds (director Dianna Cam Van Nguyen; producer Karolina Davidova; co-producer Guileume Dreyfus, Nguyen Thi Xuan Trang, Vietnam, Czech Republic, Slovakia, France); The young theorist club (director Dam Quang Trung, producer Nguyen Hoang Trieu, Vietnam), Midnight Inn (director Wang Chun Hong, producer Ping Yu Chiu, Taiwan, China) and Ghost of the currents (director Itt Patipan, co-director Kalil Pitsuwan, producer Papa Boontarig Thailand).
Flying Cows (director Nguyen Pham Thanh Dat, producer Nguyen Huu Thi Tuong Vi) is nominated in the category of Film Project for all genres.

The Vietnamese Film Project category for all genres (Genre Film Project) continues to see the participation of potential Vietnamese filmmakers, through film projects: Flying cows (director Nguyen Pham Thanh Dat, producer Nguyen Huu Thi Tuong Vi), A little dream of me (director Chung Chi Cong, producer Thuy NG), The best damn things (director Quan Phuong Thanh, producer Vincent Le), Broken being: Refuse to awake (director Hai Quang Dang, producer Quynh Nhu Le); The girl remains home alone (director Hoang Quoc Nhat, producer Tran Thanh Van), Trapped in Hell (director Hung Tran, producer Phan Gia Nhat Linh), The offering (director Trinh Quang Minh, producer Bui Le Nhat Tien).
According to producer Tran Thi Bich Ngoc, in charge of DANAFF's "Project Incubator", the selected projects will be guided and led by prestigious filmmakers in the region and the world. They will share their experiences from their successful films, share their understanding of current market trends and operations, and directly guide young filmmakers on each of their projects, finding ways to promote their development in the best direction.
"More importantly, we expect the 'Project Incubator' to not only be a place to discover potential projects, but also a space for learning, exchange, and connection between young filmmakers and producers, investors, and distributors looking for new and promising projects," Ms. Tran Thi Bich Ngoc shared.

The Best Project Award - Art-house Film Corner Pitching Category, worth 8,000 euros, will be awarded by Cinémas du Monde - a financial support fund managed by CNC (National Cinema Center of France).
The Best Project Award - Genre Project Pitching category (Category for genres) worth 4,000 USD will be presented by DANAFF. This award aims to encourage the creative voices of young Vietnamese filmmakers and support their project development process. The award is an affirmation of DANAFF's commitment to nurturing and accompanying the young generation of Vietnamese cinema.
In addition, the Mentorship Award by mylab - a training and project development program initiated in Malaysia, in partnership with many film organizations and film festivals in Asia, will award a 3-month award to a selected project. The award aims to support filmmakers to further develop their projects, connect them with suitable international producers, and expand opportunities for collaboration and development regionally and globally.
