According to the report of Thanh Thuy District Medical Center, by 3:00 p.m. this afternoon, August 29, 152/154 workers involved in the suspected food poisoning incident at Sunrise Vietnam Company Limited (Hoang Xa Industrial Park, Thanh Thuy District) had stabilized and were discharged from the hospital.
The leaders of the Department of Health directed the Thanh Thuy District Medical Center to concentrate all medical staff and doctors to treat and provide emergency care to patients (photo taken on the afternoon of August 28).
After more than a day of treatment, 152/154 workers of Sunrise Vietnam Company Limited were discharged from the hospital, only 2 people had to be hospitalized at Thanh Thuy District Medical Center due to digestive diseases.
This incident shows the high sense of responsibility of the health sector in proactively responding to large-scale poisoning cases and the coordination of Thanh Thuy district in handling unexpected epidemic situations.
Leaders of the Department of Health and Thanh Thuy district visited and encouraged patients suspected of food poisoning being treated at Thanh Thuy District Medical Center.
Currently, the Phu Tho Department of Health is coordinating with relevant agencies to verify and clarify the cause of this suspected mass food poisoning incident, thereby continuing to issue specific instructions to further strengthen state management of food hygiene and safety, ensuring the safety of workers in particular and people in general.
