On June 27, a representative of the Traffic Police Department (PC08) of Ho Chi Minh City Police said that on the same morning, traffic police from several teams under PC08 had promptly helped take students to the exam site.
At around 6:10 a.m., Captain Ta Minh Thang, an officer of the An Suong Traffic Police Team, was assigned to guard the Nguyen Van Cu High School exam site (Xuan Thoi Thuong Commune, Hoc Mon District, Ho Chi Minh City). At this time, Captain Thang received information that he needed help because a student had come to the exam site but had forgotten to bring his ID and registration number at home.
Immediately after informing the team command, Captain Thang used a special motorbike to take the students home to get the relevant documents. By 6:46, they were back at the exam site in time.
At around 7:15 a.m., Senior Lieutenant Ha Minh Dung, an officer of the Cho Lon Traffic Police Team assigned to perform duties at the Saigon University Practical High School exam site, also used a special motorbike to take Mr. Nguyen Van Duc (49 years old, residing in Binh Tan District) - the parent of student Nguyen Tran Duy Phuoc (18 years old, class 12CA1, Le Hong Phong School) home to get the registration number that student Phuoc forgot.
At 7:35 a.m., the traffic police officer was able to take the parents back to the exam site to give Phuoc the documents in time to take the exam.
