Two sports champions, Nguyen Phuc Loc - volleyball player and Tran Le Quoc Dat, track and field athlete, currently a national champion in the decathlon, are two of the 60 candidates who entered the preliminary round of the Male Model contest season 2 (Mister Vietnam season 2-2024).
With a height of 1.93m, it is not surprising that Nguyen Phuc Loc confided that participating in art in general, or becoming a model in particular, has been Loc's passion since childhood but he has not had the conditions to reach this field. When Mister Vietnam recruited, Nguyen Phuc Loc registered to find a new turning point in his life. Moreover, according to Phuc Loc, this year's contest has the criteria of finding knowledgeable, dynamic candidates, spreading positive things to the community, willing to polish "rough gems" to become bright, valuable gems. Phuc Loc found it suitable for his aspirations, which was the motivation to "risk" registering.

“I want to be a representative of a “rough diamond” from sports who dares to step into a completely new field to inspire those in the future sports field to also confidently pursue their dreams like me,” Nguyen Phuc Loc shared.

Tran Le Quoc Dat joined Mister Vietnam to see what he could do outside of sports and wanted to break his own limits.
“I often hear people say that athletes are boring, the opposite of art, especially modeling. Therefore, I am determined to prove to everyone that I can do what people think is impossible. I also want to spread this spirit to everyone through the competition, that if you try and are determined to overcome yourself, you will be able to do things beyond your limits. That is what we always try to prove when competing in sports,” Tran Le Quoc Dat shared.

2 grandmasters, 2 preliminary round contestants of Mister Vietnam and their stories have truly brought positive energy to those around them, spreading to everyone the will to constantly strive in life.
