"Before that, in 2022, when the doctor diagnosed me with breast cancer and had to undergo surgery and chemotherapy, I was very worried. With the encouragement of the doctors, I went through the treatment process.
I have participated in many races to improve my health and feel more comfortable after each run. I will definitely be a loyal athlete of the "Relay Journey" race in the following years, continuing to train to become stronger, I always believe that I will overcome and win against cancer", Ms. Hoang Anh shared.
According to Prof. Dr. Le Van Quang, Director of K Hospital, the "Relay Journey" race is not just a regular sports event launched by the Hospital and other units, but a long journey that lights up hope, connects love and spreads positive energy to cancer patients.
All proceeds from the race as well as donations from benefactors were announced and transferred directly to the Bright Tomorrow Fund to share with disadvantaged cancer patients across the country.
Through this morning's race, the total amount of money raised to support cancer patients is more than 901 million VND.
