3 new products allowed to be exported via Bac Luan II bridge, Mong Cai

On December 9, the Management Board of Mong Cai International Border Gate ( Quang Ninh ) said: 3 products including frozen seafood, aquatic animals used as food, and plant varieties permitted for import by the Chinese quarantine agency can go through customs procedures to enter China via Bac Luan II Bridge.

Specifically, on December 6, 2023, the General Administration of Customs of China approved the import of the above 3 products at Dongxing road border gate (Beilun II bridge area ).

At the same time, it is recommended to widely propagate to businesses and companies to declare to Vietnamese customs agents to carry out customs clearance procedures for the above 3 products via Bac Luan II bridge.

Speaking with Lao Dong on the afternoon of December 9, according to a representative of the Mong Cai International Border Gate Management Board, previously, agricultural and aquatic products were only exported via the pontoon bridge, the opening at Km3+4 Hai Yen (Mong Cai) was limited in time and depended on the weather. In case of storms or floods, the pontoon bridge would be shut down.

Now, the export of frozen seafood, aquatic animals used for food, and plant varieties has been expanded to include Bac Luan 2 bridge, which will create conditions for businesses to flexibly expand their product lines, and the value of official export goods will increase.
