Over the past year, Kazakhstan has hosted 33 heads of state and prime ministers , 4 leaders, senior representatives of major international organizations and 7 heads of parliament.

According to the report, Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev made 24 foreign trips, including state and official visits as well as participation in international forums.
The Central Asian nation has expanded its diplomatic presence, maintaining 121 diplomatic missions in 80 countries.
An important achievement in Kazakhstan's foreign policy is the effort to expand the framework of cooperation with foreign partners, which was demonstrated by the signing of 83 international agreements. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs also facilitated the rapid evacuation of 36 Kazakh citizens from disaster and conflict zones in 2024.
In addition, with the signing of 15 new visa-free agreements, Kazakhstan has raised its passport's position in the Henley Passport Index 2025 to 51st place.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs continues to work to attract foreign investment and promote Kazakhstan’s products abroad. The Council of Foreign Investors and the Kazakhstan Global Investment Forum have helped secure contracts worth $7 billion.
According to the Astana Times , the country of 20 million people is emerging as a leading investment destination in North and Central Asia. A report released on December 25, 2024 by the Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP) showed that Kazakhstan attracted new projects worth $15.7 billion, an 88% increase in total investment year-on-year and accounting for 63% of total investment capital in the region.
