According to Decision No. 2230/QD-CTN dated November 18, 2025, 36 individuals who are coaches and athletes of national teams will be awarded the Labor Medal, in recognition of their outstanding contributions to Vietnamese sports in 2025.
Among them, 26 individuals from the national pencak silat team were awarded the Second Class Labor Medal. Athletes Tran Thi Kim Loan, Luong Thi Van, Quang Thi Thu Nghia, Nguyen Minh Triet or Nguyen Duy Tuyen... contributed to the series of gold medals at the 2025 Asian Pencak Silat Championship held in Vietnam.
In addition, 8 coaches including Nguyen Van Hung, Le Tien Tuan, Nguyen Ba Trinh... were also recognized for their important contributions in training, helping the team maintain its leading position in the region.
Meanwhile, 6 other athletes of the Pencak Silat team such as Duong Thi Hai Quyen, Ho Phat Tai and Pham Hai Tien... were awarded the Third Class Labor Medal for their silver medal at the Asian tournament. Coach Le Anh Tuan also received a similar award for accompanying and leading his students to achieve high results.
Three individuals from the national dancesport team, including Nguyen Doan Minh Truong, Dang Thu Huong and coach Nguyen Hai Anh, were also awarded the Third Class Labor Medal. Accordingly, the above-mentioned athlete duo won silver medals at the 2025 Asian and Southeast Asian Dancesport Championships, contributing to raising the position of Vietnamese dancesport in the regional arena.
