419 poor and near-poor households in Nam Tra My voluntarily registered to escape poverty.

In the first 6 months of 2024, Nam Tra My District Party Committee focused on comprehensive and drastic leadership of all aspects of work and achieved results in all fields.

The economy has developed steadily, the output of grain crops reached nearly 1.9 thousand tons; the whole district has newly planted 25 hectares of medicinal plants. The total number of livestock and poultry in the whole district is nearly 68 thousand. Up to now, the locality has 7/10 products registered to participate in OCOP products, reaching 70% of the set target.

Also during this period, the district's trained labor rate reached 36.11%; coordinated vocational training for more than 238 workers, and sent 50 workers to work abroad for a limited period. Poverty reduction continued to receive attention, with 419 poor and near-poor households voluntarily registering to escape poverty, reaching 126.79% of the target assigned by the province.
