According to data from Oilprice on the morning of June 30, 2025 (Vietnam time), Brent crude oil prices remained at $67.39 per barrel, while WTI crude oil stabilized at $64.56 per barrel, unchanged from the previous trading session. The Gulf energy market saw positive signs thanks to the stabilizing situation in the Middle East following the ceasefire agreement, along with expectations that the US Federal Reserve (Fed) may ease interest rates. Stock indices in Saudi Arabia rose 1.2%, led by major banks such as Al Rajhi and Riyad Bank.
The Qatari and Egyptian markets also recorded growth, with indices rising 0.8% and 0.6% respectively. Meanwhile, energy stocks like Saudi Aramco remained stable following news that OPEC+ may increase production by 411,000 barrels per day from August to bolster its global market share. According to the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the Saudi Arabian economy is projected to grow by 3.5% in 2025, higher than the previous 3% forecast, thanks to major government projects and bright prospects from the energy sector.
