444 official delegates attended the 8th Congress of Advanced Youth Following Uncle Ho's Teachings

The Central Youth Union has just informed about the 8th Congress of Advanced Youth Following Uncle Ho's Teachings in 2025. The Congress will be held from May 16 to 18, 2025 in Ho Chi Minh City.

Attending the Congress were 444 delegates who were typical advanced youths who achieved the title of advanced youth following Uncle Ho's teachings at the provincial level in different fields: Union, Association, and Pioneer cadres; rural and urban youth; young civil servants and public employees; young workers; students; young scientists , young intellectuals; young artists and young athletes; young soldiers and officers; young entrepreneurs.

Specifically: 41.99% of the delegates are female and 58.01% are male; ethnic minority delegates account for 14.45%; religious delegates account for 6.09%. In addition, among the delegates, there is 1 associate professor, 11 doctors; 34 delegates have won international and regional awards. The congress has 8 youngest delegates born in 2008 (17 years old this year).

Among them, we can mention delegate Dinh Cao Son, Gold Medalist of the International Chemistry Olympiad, Outstanding Young Vietnamese Face of 2023; female singer Nguyen Thi Hoa (Hoa Minzy), who inspires and renews a culture imbued with national identity; delegate Vu Nhat Huong, who was awarded the Medal for the cause of United Nations Peacekeeping by the United Nations Peacekeeping Mission in the Central African Republic (MINUSCA)...

The Congress expects that 444 advanced youth delegates will continue to be shining examples, spreading the study and following of Uncle Ho's teachings throughout society, contributing to building a new generation of Vietnamese youth with "Pure Heart - Bright Mind - Great Ambition".

During the 3-day Congress, delegates will attend the ceremony to report achievements to Uncle Ho and award the “Advanced Youth Following Uncle Ho’s Teachings” badge; visit and experience typical historical, cultural, economic and social sites of Ho Chi Minh City; visit and present gifts to Agent Orange victims; and present youth projects on the embankment along the Saigon River.

The Congress continues to strongly apply information technology and promote digital transformation throughout the entire organization process. At the Congress, delegates will exchange, discuss, contribute ideas as well as send messages, share initiatives, good models in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, and style...

The 8th National Ceremony to Honor Outstanding Youth Following Uncle Ho's Teachings in 2025 took place on the afternoon of May 17. At the ceremony, 80 most outstanding faces representing youth from provinces, cities, affiliated unions and various fields will be honored and receive the Certificate of Outstanding Youth Following Uncle Ho's Teachings nationwide.
