2024-2025 is a special school year for the children and youth movement in Hanoi's school sector. With practical movements, campaigns, and programs, the Youth Union and Pioneers of the capital have reaped many "sweet fruits", continuing to clearly affirm their role as special companions of students.

On the morning of June 9, in Hanoi, the City Youth Union and the Hanoi City Young Pioneer Council held a conference to review the work of the Young Pioneers and the capital's children's movement; the work of the Youth Union and the youth movement of high schools, vocationaleducation centers, and continuing education centers in the 2024-2025 school year.

Promoting the role of being a role model and being creative, the activities under the last school year's program of the Youth Union and Young Pioneers in the capital have achieved many commendable results. The movements "Children of the capital compete to follow Uncle Ho's 5 teachings", "Youth volunteers", "Creative youth", "I love Hanoi " ... continue to be widely and creatively deployed.

According to Deputy Secretary of the City Youth Union, Chairman of the Hanoi City Youth Union Council Dao Duc Viet, last school year, more than 85,000 new members were admitted, more than 37,000 members participated in the Youth Union sympathy class; the Youth Union of schools introduced more than 5,000 outstanding members to participate in Party sympathy training classes, of which 490 outstanding high school students were honored to join the Party.

Comrade Dao Duc Viet reviewed the imprints of the Youth Union and Young Pioneers organizations in the capital.

In the 2024-2025 school year, more than 900,000 children participated in journeys to the source, red addresses, and meetings with historical witnesses. The models "Friends helping friends", "Friends progressing together", activities "Building beautiful friendships, saying no to school violence", forums "Speaking good words, doing good deeds, behaving civilly" continued to be widely deployed; the clubs "Young Propaganda Team", "Little Reporters" were maintained"; the movements "Thousands of good deeds", "Brave youth", the program "Filial children" continued to have significant developments...

Volunteer activities, which are the "trademarks" of the Youth Union and students in the capital, such as the "Red Flamboyant Flower" Campaign, "Green Summer", and the "Exam Support" program, have attracted tens of thousands of students to actively participate. The "Creative Youth" movement recorded more than 40,000 ideas and initiatives contributed by young people in schools.

Representatives of the Central Youth Union, Central Council of Young Pioneers, City Youth Union, and Hanoi City Young Pioneers Council awarded Emulation Flags to outstanding and typical units.

During the school year, more than 25 billion VND in scholarships were awarded by the Youth Union chapters at all levels in the capital to students who overcame difficulties and achieved good results; hundreds of academic clubs and learning support clubs were maintained and newly established.

Notably, a network of city-level specialized clubs has been established, clearly demonstrating the increasingly determined participation of the Capital's Youth Union to accompany young people in studying, creating, and scientific research...

Representatives of the Organizing Committee of the Conference awarded Certificates of Merit to the first prize winners at the 30th Hanoi Youth Informatics Contest, which just ended in recent days.

On this occasion, the City Youth Union and the Hanoi City Young Pioneer Council awarded emulation flags to 60 excellent teams in the work of the Young Pioneers and children's movements and 14 excellent units in the work of the Youth Union and youth movements in high schools, vocational education centers, and continuing education in the 2024-2025 school year.

In addition, at the Conference, the Organizing Committee also awarded Certificates of Merit from the Hanoi Youth Union and Certificates of Merit from the Hanoi Youth Union to 63 outstanding collectives and individuals who won the 30th Hanoi Youth Informatics Contest; awarded 22 Certificates of Merit from the Hanoi Youth Union to outstanding collectives and individuals in implementing Directive 05 on "Promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle".
