Rewarding the teams that won high prizes in the competition

Speaking at the contest, Ms. Hoang Thi Thuy Linh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Youth Union, Chairwoman of the Hue City Youth Union Council emphasized: Tobacco is the leading cause of harm to human health. Cigarette smoke is dangerous for both smokers and those who regularly inhale cigarette smoke. Recently, the propaganda against the harmful effects of tobacco in the city has been promoted; many departments, branches and units have committed to building a smoke-free environment, which has been agreed upon by officials and people.

Through the contest, the organizers hope that each member and young person will apply the knowledge they have researched, explored and learned into specific actions, determined to build a smoke-free environment; actively participate in propaganda activities about the harmful effects of tobacco in agencies, units, businesses, communities, especially in schools, strive for 100% of headquarters, workplaces and meetings of the Union, Association and Team to have no-smoking regulations, reduce the rate of smoking and move towards no tobacco use.

The competition was attended by 5 teams from colleges, clubs, and groups in the city; the teams went through 3 rounds: "Greeting", "Challenge" and "Message from a skit about preventing the harmful effects of tobacco"...
