Apples contain hydroxy acids (AHAs) that stimulate the epidermal cells in the stratum corneum, leading to the exfoliation of dull and rough skin, while promoting cell regeneration. AHAs work to promote softer, smoother skin and reduce wrinkles.
According to a 2006 study from National Taiwan University, dairy products, such as soy milk and kefir, may slow skin aging.
How to do: Steam 1/4 apple until soft and puree. Then mix two teaspoons of apple with one tablespoon of fresh milk and gently massage the mixture for 15 minutes to stimulate the nutrients to quickly penetrate and rinse with warm water.
