500 athletes participate in sports festival to celebrate Duc Lap Liberation Day

The 6th Sports Congress in 2025 was chosen by Dak Mil district as a model congress. The congress is an activity to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Duc Lap Liberation Day (March 9, 1975 - March 9, 2025).

Athletes and delegates solemnly performed the flag-raising ceremony.

The Sports Festival had the participation of more than 500 athletes from 10 residential groups in Dak Mil town.

More than 500 athletes representing the movement "all people exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho" with the goal of "being healthy to build and protect the Fatherland" representing the athlete delegations of 10 residential groups participated in the parade to welcome the Congress.

Athletes will compete in 6 events including: football, badminton, table tennis, tug of war, stick pushing and chess.

Parade to show off forces to welcome the opening of the 6th Dak Mil Town Sports Festival in 2025

The 6th Dak Mil Town Sports Festival is held every 5 years. This is not only an opportunity to honor outstanding forces in the mass sports movement but also to develop and improve the quality of the local sports movement.

Comrade Nguyen Xuan Luong, District Party Committee member, Party Committee Secretary, Chairman of the Town People's Council lit the torch on the Congress's pyre.

This congress also aims to promote the campaign "All people exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho", contributing to improving people's health, towards the goal of "Healthy to build and protect the Fatherland".

Art performance to welcome the 6th Dak Mil Town Sports Festival

Through the Dak Mil town congress, excellent athletes were discovered and selected to participate in the 8th Dak Mil district Sports Festival in 2025 (expected to take place in May 2025).

Referee Le Dinh Tuan, on behalf of the referee force participating in the duties of officiating matches at the Congress, took the oath.

With the spirit of solidarity, honesty and nobility, the 6th Dak Mil Town Sports Festival promises to bring many exciting matches, creating an exciting atmosphere, contributing to promoting the strong development of the mass sports movement in the town.

Athlete Bui Dang Quynh, residential group 5, on behalf of all athletes attending the Congress, made a pledge speech.

The congress took place over two days, from March 1-2.

The Organizing Committee of the Dak Mil District Sports Festival presented flowers and gifts to the Dak Mil Town Sports Festival.
