On the morning of July 21, the Ministry of Education and Training announced the input quality assurance threshold - also known as the "floor score" for the health sector with university-level practice certificates in 2025.
Accordingly, the threshold to ensure input quality from high school graduation exam scores for admission to health majors with university-level practice certificates in 2025 for candidates in region 3 has a minimum score (without coefficient) of all combinations of 3 exams/subjects regardless of the exam results of candidates studying the 2018 General Education Program and candidates studying the 2006 General Education Program.
The threshold for ensuring input quality in each specific industry is as follows:
Thus, compared to 2024, the threshold for ensuring input quality this year for industries in the health sector has decreased. Specifically, in 2024, the threshold for ensuring input quality for the medical and dental sectors is 22.5 points.
The threshold for ensuring input quality for the pharmaceutical and traditional medicine majors is 21 points; the majors include: Nursing, preventive medicine, midwifery, dental prosthetics, medical testing techniques, medical imaging techniques, and rehabilitation techniques is 19 points.
Every year, the Ministry of Education and Training determines the threshold for ensuring input quality for the health sector, while other sectors are determined by higher education institutions themselves.
