6 large bid packages are looking for contractors to start construction in early 2025

From December to early 2025, ACV continues to invite bids for 6 packages at Long Thanh airport for wastewater treatment items, airport management system, parking lot, port operator...

On December 9, according to news from the Airports Corporation of Vietnam (ACV), it is expected that this December and the first quarter of 2025, the unit will continue to invite bids for 6 packages. These packages will start construction in the first and second quarters of 2025 to reach the finish line in 2026.

Including package 4.11 - construction and equipment installation and design of construction drawings for wastewater treatment facilities. Expected to issue bidding documents in December and start construction in the first quarter of 2025, completed in August 2026.

The second is package 5.11 - construction, installation and supply of airport management system equipment. This package is also expected to invite bids in December to start construction in the first quarter of 2025 and complete in the second quarter of 2026.

Third is package 7.8 - construction and installation of equipment for cargo terminal No. 1 and the remaining auxiliary works. Currently, ACV is urgently completing the appraisal and approval of technical design documents and estimates. It is expected that in the first quarter of 2025, bidding documents will be issued and then construction will start in the first quarter to complete in August 2026.

Similar to package 11.5 - construction and installation of equipment for parking garage projects, bidding documents for construction, construction supervision and construction insurance have also been issued in November 2024. Construction is expected to start in the first quarter of 2025 and be completed in August 2026.

Package 12 - construction and installation of equipment for the port management building and package 12.2 - construction and installation of equipment for the security checkpoint, emergency rescue and fire fighting center, medical center and other projects are also completing the appraisal and approval of technical design documents and estimates.

It is expected that in the first quarter of 2025, bidding documents will be issued to start construction in the second quarter and complete in August 2026.

It is known that ACV has previously deployed many main packages such as passenger terminal, traffic roads connecting T1 - T2, runways, taxiways, aircraft fuel supply, internal port traffic roads, aircraft parking and other works...

Currently, all the above packages have met and exceeded the set schedule. In particular, the passenger terminal was completed 20 days ahead of schedule, and the runway was completed 2 months ahead of schedule.
