Dong Nai encourages businesses to invest in digital transformation

On the morning of October 8, at the Center for Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion of Dong Nai province, the Department of Science and Technology held the opening ceremony of the Science, Technology, Innovation and Digital Transformation Festival of Dong Nai province in 2025 - Techfest Dong Nai 2025.

2025 is a pivotal time for Dong Nai to implement Resolution 57-NQ/TW, focusing on three major directions: Building a science and technology ecosystem and innovation; promoting comprehensive digital transformation in governance, production and life; and developing digital infrastructure and smart cities in key areas such as Tran Bien, Tan Trieu, and Long Thanh.

A welcome performance

Techfest Dong Nai 2025 (taking place from October 8 to 10) with the theme: "Creative Runway - Dong Nai Takes Off", has a scale of 200 exhibition booths and is expected to attract 1,500 guests to participate in the topics and 60,000 visitors.

The festival affirms the role of science, technology, innovation and digital transformation as a pillar of development, promoting technology transfer activities and building the spirit of innovative entrepreneurship in the community, businesses and entrepreneurs.

Mr. Le Truong Son, Vice Chairman of Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee delivered the opening speech.

In his opening speech, Mr. Le Truong Son, Vice Chairman of Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee, said that Dong Nai identified science and technology, innovation and digital transformation as the leading pillars for growth. The province aims to commercialize scientific research results into production, expand cooperation opportunities between businesses and scientists, encourage businesses to invest in digital transformation, and create conditions for creative ideas and technology start-up projects to soon become practical products.

At Techfest Dong Nai 2025, the Head of the Investment Connection Committee, National Center for Supporting Creative Startups (NSSC) announced the assessment report of the startup ecosystem in Dong Nai and the Southern region; the Department of Science and Technology launched the Science and Technology Development Fund.
